All stringed musical instruments should be maintained in normal temperature and humidity conditions. Extremely high temperatures (above 45-50 degrees Celsius) can cause some serious damage to the glue and the instrument may be harmed. Be careful to keep the instruments away from heating sources or direct sun exposure.

Extremely high or extremely low humidity conditions may cause the woods to shrink or expand making the fretboard defective. Avoid keeping the instruments into closets or other places that do not ventilate properly. It is better to keep the insturments out in the room and not into their cases.

No it is not. Buying a case for the instrument makes the packing easier of course and reduces the possibility of the instrument being damaged during traveling. We ship instruments worldwide without a case and we never had any accidents. That is because we provide extra protection to the instruments that travel without a case by using a lot more packing materials into the shipping box. So if you do not need a case or you already have one go ahead and buy just the instrument.

The sound samples are recorded in our workshop, not in a sound studio, for every instrument seperately. The recording settings are exacly the same for all samples. We do not add any effects or equalizer to the recordings. We use OKTAVA MK012 low value microphone that provides an objective sound regarding to the bouzouki family instruments. You should notice though that the instrument's sound is highly depending on the player's skills.
